When it comes to stabilizing loads for transport, reusable pallet strapping is the obvious solution. The reusable pallet strapping is so easy to handle that only one employee is necessary to fully stabilize the pallet. Floor space which would have gone to this one specific part of storage processing would have gone to other needs. And additional machinery would no longer need to be acquired. The additional man-hours one would have accrued over the year with just this specific aspect of pallet stabilization will also inevitably add up. Perhaps one other pro that these straps have that many distributors miss out on, is the fact that they not only protect what’s inside the boxes of goods on the pallet, but also the boxes themselves. In the past, the use of adhesive tapes to secure these boxes for transport meant that they would inevitably be damaged in some way. Sometimes the tape would rip out part of the branding, or worse, part of the important information found on the boxes themselves. To prevent this, the tape would have needed to be left on the boxes, meaning minus points for aesthetics.
The great thing about the stretch band is that not only are they easy and quick to apply, but they are also incredibly easy to remove while keeping the boxes intact. They are not adhesive in nature, meaning you won’t need to worry about any worsening of the state of the boxes no matter how many times the pallets would need to be moved.
